Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie, born on November 24, 1981 is an American political commentator. She was a former politician, and a TV host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they were leaving the show at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to start their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that her political interest due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 primary elections and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of that country, and came to appreciate for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She co-hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She established the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
