Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is an South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She worked as an CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politically biased report regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake in my 10-year-old's watch." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in 2019. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She stated she was "dumped” by the network in March 2022. Logan was a student as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) as well as the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years of working for Reuters Television in Africa she began freelance journalism. She was hired as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to report about such events as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
